We employ a full research and recruiting staff at South Shore. Our search process involves 4 phases; name generation, candidate recruitment and sourcing, candidate interview and presentation, and managing the candidates through the hiring process. The name generation phase involves generating a list of potential candidates from client competitors and similar companies in the specific industry. Resources used to generate names include sourcing individuals in our database, internet research, utilizing directories, and direct cold calls. In the candidate recruitment phase, our recruiting team contacts the names, qualifies them as potential candidates and generates interest by presenting the opportunity. We then interview and screen the candidates to see if they fit the job specifications. Once we qualify the candidate, we put together a presentation to the client which includes resume, salary history, and an interview summary. After we present the candidate, we will coordinate with the client to set up interviews and manage the candidate through the interview and hiring process. We like to stay involved up until the candidate begins employment as our team has had significant experience in areas such as salary negotiation, preventing counteroffers, and reference checking.
